Alex, this is one of the coolest projects I have seen. I love the use of inlays for this project. Really cool stuff brother!

Thanks, Mark. I'm waiting on delivery of a spindle (the thought of listening to my Bosch router running for more than a couple of minutes was overwhelming). Your comment about bridges is most helpful...if I can figure out how to create them....

This is about as good as it got in NE Okla., slightly over 90%. Of course I went all out getting the image... two pin holes in a paper plate. :duh: Eclipse by Rick 2.0 posted Aug 21, 2017 at 10:47 PM

We should be getting 80% eclipse view here in the Northeastern US. How about you?

Hiya, Mark! I'm about to embark on my first CNC project with my mini-mill and this looks like a good one. Questions: did you start with one large sheet of material or were the pieces cut individually? The mini mill has limited cut volume so...

Any ideas on where to get 1/4" fanfold foam? looks like Lowes, home depot, and every other building material place I've checked stopped carrying anything less than 1/2" rigid foam board.
