    Hi all
Im a total noob at all this . I have built a Prusa i3 fro a kit. As far as i can figure out everything is set right.

My problem is that when i send a print to the printer it raises the Z axis to its highest possible height and then merrily tries to print in mid air as opposed to on the hot bed.

Basically i have molten plastic being extruded at a height of 180mm lol

Im using marlin as my firmware (please dont tell me to change firmwares)

Im pretty certain that i have missed 1 or possibly 2 settings.

    Can anyone help me?

    Cheers

    Paul

Plug your z axis motors in the other direction, unplug turn 180 plug back in.
That will change the direction your z travels
Where are your limit switches located ? Pics?
