ATmega 2560 programming

    Oh, man, when things run smooth it's a joy but when the gremlin sneak in it's frustrating as hell.

    I'm trying to flash a new ATmega 2560 and the thing fights me tooth and nail. I get the 'stk500v2 checksum' error. I googled it and it looks like I'm not the first to run into it but no one posted a solution. The ATmega is brand new, for crying out loud. I bought another board and should arrive by next week.

    I hate it when this happens. Why do they always pick on me??? :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
