Hi, stainless steel works quite well with trochoidal milling - even rather soft machines can do it: Obviously the more rigid the machine the better - but it is surprising how well even very soft machines perform. Make sure to get a tool specifically for stainless steel. Tools for aluminum will work well at first but their thin and exposed cutting edges dull much faster. Christian
