I was "gifted" a pile of extruded aluminum and not finding a match in the OPENRAIL_20_V9_Vslot_SU2014.skp
file. It's all inch dimensions. Here's what I have:
    Yards and yards of 3 x 3" - double v-slot
    Yards of 1.5 x 3" - single/double v-slot
    Yards of 1.75 x 1.75 single v
    few 6' sticks of 1.5 x 1.5" single v

Need help determining if Openrail is compatible.

    Thanks!

Can you provide a photo? End shots with a ruler in the photo would be helpful.

Doesn't look too good. You could probably drill and tap the top one 1/4" off the edge but that is about all you have to work with. Using the extrusion merely as support and mounting the openrail on 1/8" or better flat bar stock and mounting that to the face of the extrusion may be a good alternative.

OK - That's helpful. Guess I'll just use what I have to build the support table.
For a 1500 x 1500mm CNC, is there any clear advantage between openrail and maker rail?
