Thoughts on whats better a fixed Build Plate where the XY move up and down. or a Fixed (in Z) XY where the build plate moves up and down Z
not sure what you mean, z is up-down x is left-right y is in - out so what you're saying is. 1. A fixed build plate on a Y axis, and the Z moves the x axis up and down - ie. i3 Prusa (mendel iirc) 2. A build plate that moves up and down Z axis and you have a fixed X and Y ie. ultimaker 2 ( 2. will have a bigger build area and more precision
