    Hi guys,
i'm new here and i simply wanna ask you about LCD DLP Printers.
Is there a Instruction out there that Descripe how to do the electonic Part?
What Display should i use or can i use a old LCD Monitor like this:
eBay Kleinanzeigen | Kostenlos. Einfach. Lokal.

(How does this Display affect the Quality and what would you prefer?)

I got already 2 FDM Style 3D Printers and can print the Frame Brackets and other Stuff by my self. ;)

Well, I've been working on this myself, and you can read about it here:

    LCD Based SLA Resin Printer

As for those monitors, sure they can work, but the print resolution will only be marginally better than an FDM printer. If you are looking to do this on the cheap, then use an iPad retina LCD. They can usually be found for about $40 on eBay. Then you just need an interface. Someone on my thread found some reasonably priced HDMI to eDP adapters so you can have the whole image source for under $100. The LCDs you here looking at had an X/Y resolution of 0.264mm. The iPad screen is 0.09mm.

Also, the backlight on those old monitors is most likely ccfl and not LED. That may have some impact on how well the resins cured compared to LED. You would have to strip the back of the LCD off and set up your own external backlight.

To drive the LCD, provided you have an HDMI interface, you can use a Raspberry Pi 2/3 (not a Zero) running NanoDLP. It will support resolutions up to 4K and will handle that iPad screen easily. The Pi will also be able to interface with any Ramps or grbl based stepper driver controller for the Z axis drive and limit switches.

    Hope this helps some

Nope. You want the generation 3 or 4 iPad Retina screen. It's much higher resolution, and will work with that adapter board, where the other one won't.
