Looking at getting my control system together and am now looking at Bob's for mach3.

All the bobs I have looked at seem the same, are there any better than others, any yo keep away from.

    Thanks Adam

What are the amps Rms of your motors. This will determine which bob is more appropriate. At work and at home all the machines I've used are running on a BOB with a db25 connector. These seem to be the most configurable for multiple axis.

I'd pick one with inputs for limit switches, e stop, good quality optocouplers.

Looking at 4.2A, DM542A drivers, 4 axis running from a parallel port.

From what I'm seeing there all just generic Chinese boards
