I'm kinda at an impass. I've always used MIC6 plate for my builds for the table which allow for fixturing anywhere and the use of locating pins for a given offset. I like the concept of slotted table, but don't want to lose the ability to use locating pins. What are your thoughts??

Blocking that anchors into the slots that serves the same purpose as locating pins.

Yeah but most of my fixtures that I use already have locating pins :) So I'd have to redo them

Another possible solution might involve using L-brackets to attach T-Slot rails on top of the MIC6. Then you can use the MIC6 when you want locating beams and attach the T-Slot when you need the more flexible clamp location.
