Ordered my C Beam kit and the next step is to start getting the electronics and what not. Here is what I have on hand and i really appreciate any tips and advice as what to do and what to avoid. Stepper motors : Nema 23 - 2 units Nema 17 - 5 units (Leftover from a 3d printer build) How should i best use what i have available? Spindle: Using a Makita RT0700C Router Electronics: Here is the iffy part. I have a spare RUMBA board lying around. Its been flashed for use with a 3D Printer but i can always overwrite it for use with a CNC software. Should i or should i get a new board like those listed with separate driver boards for use with MACH3+? Odds and Ends: I have a fair bit of end stops Software: Which software is recommended? Something opensource be really great. I ultimately intend to upgrade to MACH3+ though. Media: I intend to use it for wood and soft aluminium projects. Thanks Kenneth
