I have a C-Beam machine with Nema 23s and previously used a GRBLShield/Arduino combo but when it recently got fried I replaced it with an X-Pro board.

The board works fine but the motors are a lot noisier than they were with my previous setup.

The motor movement vibrates the whole chassis and makes it rattle. Movement is accurate with no mis-stepping so the wiring is correct and the board is functioning correctly. Movement used to be smooth as silk.

I have tried various micro-stepping settings and adjusted the current pots but I can't get it any quieter.

Is this just a function of the XPro that I will have to put up with or are there any settings that may improve it? My current micro stepping is set to 1/16

    Any advice gratefully received
