    Hi all,

I'm looking for 3d print software that generates simple tool paths.
Currently I'm using solidworks and exporting to slic3r and the gcode generated is ugly. I'm trying to do a straight line into an upward helix. I want the object the same thickness as the extrusion. I've tinkered with all the settings in slic3r without much change in results. I'm exporting the file from solidworks as an stl and I think that might be the problem.

Any Software leads or advice is greatly appreciated.

    Joe
