I have a few nema23 motors. I also have the Chinese controllers. My wire colors are red, blue, green, and black. I know that the pairs are red, blue and green, black. My question is this. How do I figure out which is A+, A- and B+, B-. I think that A and B pairs will be arbitrary but the thing that bothers me is the + and -. No where do I read anything about how to tell which is + and which is -. Or am I over thinking this and it does not matter. I come from a maintenance back ground and + and - almost always matters. Any help would be welcome

It doesn't matter. They are each just one end of a coil of wire.
Hook the pairs up and if the motor doesn't go the way you want, reverse the wires in one pair.
