I purchased a 3 axis - Nema 34 based Xylotex kit, with the Beagle CNC. The purpose was to implement a Momus CNC plan.

We built the machine as per the plan and it was very hard (a detail in the picture) with all the plywood and the metal machining needed (with hand tools).

The result is disappointing in that the belt driven axis on the wooden structure perform very pporly and need constant adjustment to avoid seizing.

So we wanted to move to a simpler frame like the OX builds which will require less moving parts and a more rigid structure, but reusing the electronics and the controls.

Where do we start to make something simple and fast?

We need more information on the intended purpose of this machine.
