So I want it to place on my current printer to upgrade it. Then move the ramps from that machine to a "made from harvested parts" printer. As many of the parts have come from old scanners and printers as possible..

I would use it for my old, slow, but reliable self-designed corexy bigfoot printer.

Starting to design my first Cartesian Style CNC, a Smoothieboard would be great way to control it. The Smoothieboard board is my top choice to run my C-beam machine.

I've built a massive 1.5m x 2m cnc router table, but the ramps board im using at the moment is just not cutting it.

Moving on from the Shapeoko i am planning on building a new CNC router and this would be a great board to try for the motion control.

This sexy beast would be going into my first router build a hybrid cbeam plate-maker / laser engraver. I've been eyeing the smoothieboard because of it's simplicity and noob friendly setup.

I think I would want to upgrade my wanhao duplicator 4s with it. It is Cartesian so I should be able to pull the old atamega style board out and upgrade easily. I'd also pull my hotends out and add E3d's instead. I think I could. Maybe even upgrade the stepper motors and increase the speed and auto tramming.

If I had to do a fresh build with it, I think I'd try for a large format Delta. Kinda like the Tevo Little Monster.

I would replace the Arduino/CNC Shield on my C Beam XL. Would be perfect to run my new laser engraver.

This would be like letting a kid loose in a candy store ...

I'd design and build a laser/engraver with a 4th rotating axis for crazy capability. I'd reserve the 5th stepper driver for future enhancement - I'm sure that something would come up once the machine was running!

I want to build a giant over sized delta and would love the speed of a smoothie for the delta calculations. Or even to convert my shapeoko to a smoothie.

Have been dreaming in buying a smoothie board to use it on the prusa i3 clone, due to the ramps and the anet boards stops quite often don't know why with a any complicated geometries.
and i have wasted about 2 spools because of them

I'm currently working on a 300x300 D-Bot printer that this would make a fantastic upgrade for.
