What a fun build,,, I started with the idea building a 20x30 (500x1000) but wasn't necessary so I end up cutting the 1000mm vslot in half and used it as a monitor stand in the same Acro frame I know sounds crazy but the screen weight is just like a pound and have no more space, the machine is bolted secure in a 3/4 24x26 MDF board that was hanging around my garage as a spare spoiler board for my C-Beam machine.
So far i was able to cut 3/16 foam board with the cheap laser module as you can see in the image bellow of the compass rose.
The setup was build as follows:
All mechanical parts from Openbuilds
Plates were cutted in my CBeam from some leftovers 1/4in cast acrylic
Electronics X-Pro V3 from Openbuilds
Motors Nema 17 Amazon 3 for 29$
12v Power Supply 30a
Laser Module the cheapest Ebay pwm ready 2.5w you can imagine for know until Santa
