    Hi there..

Sorry another noob question. currently im using 3 outputs on my bb (x,y,z) y is the split to two drivers to power the two opposing motors of the y axis. and currently only have one home switch on one side.

Is there a way of using two home switches and utilizing the bb A axis output to mirror the Y output except when going home it will run into the switch independently? thus calibrating the axis back to square in the event of it drifting out.

I haven't actually tested my home switches with mach 3 as yet.. do the switches also calibrate the axis, say the switch is activated at +0.2 will mach 3 zero the location?

Cheers, look forward to your comments.

    Jon.

    Hi Jon,

Yes - for Mach3 operation you need 2 home switches (one for each side of the gantry) then when configured in Mach it will automatically "square" the gantry when calling the homing operation.
