So has anybody tried using one of the Dremel Flex Shaft Attachment (link to amazon)?

They should be able to fit in most 1/8 collets.

I have one for a off brand dremel that I use (non milling use) and the business end can be rotated through a full 360 degree rotation perpendicular to the motor. If the plastic cladding is removed it should be able to be threaded into an aluminum holder.

Might be a good tool head for a 5 axis, with such a small profile.
