    An interesting build you have there.
    My major concern would be the potential twist you are going to get on your X Axis.
    I think you need to give some thought to beefing up that Axis to remove that pivot point. As a suggestion, maybe lower your existing X crossbar a little, and then put another crossbar above that one and use it to stabilise the Z Axis further up the column. Giving you two points of support and removing the twist potential.

    Or just a sheet of plywood on the back, 0.25" may be enough, will eliminate any twisting.
