This is the adult version of the QU-BD juvenile known as their OneUp. It not only uses extrusion framing instead of press board MDF, it is a full sized 8x8 build area w/ABS-Nylon capability. Only the OneUp's single Z axis driver concept is similar. I'm tempted to call it OneUpAdult for marketing.

An all metal construction cartesian style 3D printer with a very rigid frame that has the flexibility to function as a desktop milling station or laser cutter with appropriate user designed attachments. This is my 1st submission to openbuilds.com and my 1st venture into building a 3D Printer. The Phoenix 3d Printer is a kit from Ez3D, a company based out of Colorado, started and backed by successful Kick-starter and IndieGogo campaigns. The Phoenix 3d Printer kit is currently backlogged 10 to 12 weeks which means quite a wait. I will be chronicling my experience with this kit as I get it done.

I'm looking to build a large build-volume, accurate, steady 3D printer with the eventual aim of swapping in a diode laser to allow for use as a cutter for printing/cutting parts out of balsa sheet for building model aircraft.

Base is a Delta Kossel Printer modified to be build with openbuild parts like vslot 20x40 , pulley .... It inclued the latest modification for auto level : FSR

I have wanted a 3D printer for a while. I had thought to convert my ShapeOko machine to a 3D printer BUT after looking at having to replace the electronics with new and the small form factor. I went looking for a kit which would do what I want. Well I found it. It is the MakerFarm i3v printer.

Designed from the ground up as a low cost, highly scalable delta printer. This printer has been built as small as carry on luggage size, up to an 18in wide print surface and is capable of larger. Approximate cost is low to mid $500 range start to finish, including electronics for a basic model.

I've made a 3D printer

I creat a open source 3D Printer to print big things. Print size: 400x500x300 mm. You can download the Drawing in PDF and in Inventor 2013 format. The unwinding drawings are also included. I take some detail photos for a better understanding.

As a 3rd year mechatronic engineer with a plan to print my 4th year thesis project and with no elegant backup plan, I ran into a problem, I'm gonna need a bigger printer. Loving the DeltaPrintr kickstarter, but needing it before the end of next year I have resolved to make my own.

This is a work in progress(not printing yet). Expect this instructions to grow with time, but for now it is mainly interesting for those who want to take part in developing this printer.

Proteus is the Greek God of change. Besides the numerous aspect of 3D printing that this could relate to this machine like the god can change. The Build allows for an interchanging head that will allow different functionality to be quickly and easily adapted. So you could print clay, silicon, plastic, cut with a laser cutter or even attach a rotary tool
